RUSH To Play Nine Songs From 'Snakes & Arrows' On Upcoming Tour
May 30, 2007RUSH fan site RushIsABand.com has posted an audio interview with RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson, conducted earlier today (Wednesday, May 30) by Mark Jeeves of the U.K. digital radio station Planet Rock. In the interview Alex mentions that RUSH will play nine songs from "Snakes & Arrows" on its upcoming tour and that "Workin' Them Angels" is his current favorite.
RUSH has selected "The Larger Bowl" as the second single from its latest CD, "Snakes & Arrows".
RUSH's 18th studio album, "Snakes & Arrows", debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard album chart with sales of 93,000 copies. The disc, which has sold 150,000 copies in the U.S. since its May 1 release, is the first collection of all-new RUSH material since 2002's "Vapor Trails" and the 27th RUSH release to make the Billboard album chart. The band's chart peak was in 1993, when "Counterparts" debuted at No. 2.
